The status of a screening lets you know what state the request is in and when the results are ready for you to view. The possible statuses are:
Waiting on Candidate
An email has been sent to the Candidate’s registered email address to fill out the screening form, but the Candidate has not completed it yet. Certn will send regular reminders to the Candidate to complete the form. However, if the status does not change in a timely manner you may wish to send the Candidate a message on the Messages page to confirm they received the screening email.
In Progress
Certn is processing the requested background check and hasn’t submitted the results yet. Please check back again later as some checks could take a few days.
Complete
Certn has submitted results for the requested screening. These results will have a score of either:
- “Cleared” (no issues found)
- “Review” (findings found information you may wish to consider)
- “Verified” (for a successful Identity Verification)
To view the details of a result on the screenings page, click on the ••• on the right of a screening and click VIEW DOCUMENT.
